The rabbits cannot approach the monitor room where Megumi notices the symbol "★Gacrux" on the door. Kirara repels the rabbits and questions the purpose of conjuring them. Kirara's cursed technique can sense sorcerers, so they believe Megumi will be overwhelmed by the rabbits. However, Megumi dispels the rabbits before they can reach him. Megumi asks Panda for information about Rabbit Escape, but Panda comments on its cuteness instead. Megumi clarifies that he wants to know where the rabbits could and couldn't go on the roof. Panda confirms that the shikigami were attracted to him and the second floor, but they couldn't reach Kirara or the monitor room door. Megumi realizes that Kirara's cursed technique is likely based on a constellation of stars. Kirara realizes that Megumi is getting closer to understanding their technique and focuses their attention on him. Megumi guesses that the technique is based on the Southern Cross constellation, surprising both Kirara and himself. Kirara now knows that Megumi had doubts about the constellation as the motif and confirms it for him with their reaction. They decide to prevent Megumi from reaching the monitor room. Megumi thanks Tsumiki silently for teaching him about the Southern Cross, but he is still confused because the constellation should have four points. He discusses the cursed technique with Panda and theorizes that it follows a determined route based on the points marked by the stars. They realize that there must be a fifth star between them that they need to find in order to reach Kirara and the door. Panda suggests the possibility of there being more than five points, but Megumi believes that five is already too many for a cross. Kirara attacks them, marking a car with ★Imai and throwing it at Panda. Megumi runs away to search for the other star, while Panda catches and throws away the car. However, the car comes back to Panda due to the ★Imai mark. Megumi deduces that the user needs to make physical contact to place the stars. He notices cursed energy residuals on the car and finds one from someone other than Kirara. He finds a parking stop marked with the fifth star, ★Mimosa. Kirara realizes they have been outsmarted by Megumi and their technique, Divine Dog, was never dispelled. Megumi touches the parking stop and does not find any more residuals. He assumes that Kirara cannot mark another object with ★Acrux to attract more objects. However, to his surprise, objects already marked with ★Acrux are headed towards him. Kirara's cursed technique, Love Rendezvous, targets cursed energy using a southern cross motif. The stars must follow a determined order, with one star only approaching another in a specific sequence. Megumi needs to pass through ★Mimosa and ★Ginan to reach the ★Gacrux. While Panda is incapacitated, Kirara admits to being impressed with Megumi's understanding of Love Rendezvous. However, Kirara reveals that they can remove ★Ginan from their cursed energy and mark other things with ★Acrux instead. But just as Kirara is caught off guard, Divine Dog reappears and immobilizes them. Megumi strategically used Divine Dog to trap Kirara and forced them to cancel Love Rendezvous. Now restraining Kirara, Megumi asks them to listen to him.
