Panda meets up with Megumi in a nearby forest after leaving the parking garage. They discuss their hopes that Yuji will be successful in making contact with Hakari. Panda reveals that he hasn't been able to meet Hakari himself because of Kirara Hoshi's cursed technique, which prevents him from getting close to the monitoring room. Regardless of how Panda approaches the door, he can't reduce the distance, comparing it to the stopping effect of Satoru Gojo's Infinity. Megumi, hiding in the shadows of the guards, asks if Kirara's technique is only active when she is in the monitoring room. Panda is unsure since Kirara is always seen with Hakari. Megumi then subdues the guards while remaining hidden in their shadows. Panda decides to attract spectators to avoid getting on Hakari's bad side and expresses gratitude for the support of the first-years. However, Megumi is still uneasy about whether Yuji will be able to convince Hakari. Panda believes that Yuji's charm will work, but he also acknowledges that Yuji is a bad liar. Beforehand, Panda gave Yuji tips on how to handle different situations. The worst-case scenario would be if Hakari discovers that Yuji is from Jujutsu High and kicks him out. Panda suggests securing the area and monitoring the door to prevent this, which would involve taking out some security guards. Panda is familiar with the camera locations and blind spots, as well as the positions of the lookouts. Megumi acknowledges that they might have a solid plan, but Kirara's cursed technique is still an unknown factor. If Hakari and Kirara manage to bring Yuji outside the door or bring in more muscle, Megumi believes they would have to abandon their objective entirely. Panda takes out the other lookouts to clear a path to the roof. After winning another match in the fight club tournament, Yuji sends Megumi a text saying he's meeting with Hakari at 1 o'clock. Megumi immediately deletes the message from his phone. The lookouts maintain their positions as Yuji is brought to meet with Hakari by Kirara. Kirara calls Yuji "Yu" and shares some information about Hakari's past. Yuji notices Kirara's cheerful demeanor, which Kirara attributes to Hakari feeling "hot" again. Megumi sneaks into the shadow of the first guard and subdues him from behind, rendering him unconscious. Megumi tapes his mouth and restrains him with zip ties. The second guard walks by without noticing and Megumi quickly moves into his shadow as well, eventually knocking him out. Megumi manages to take out the guards while staying hidden from the cameras. Meanwhile, Panda plays with a tire, attracting the attention of two guards who don't suspect any trouble. He incapacitates them and takes a fish sausage before heading up the emergency stairs, where there are no cameras. Megumi and Panda regroup on the roof. Panda assures Megumi that any trouble caused by their actions won't be a big deal in the long run. They position themselves to guard the door to the monitoring room. However, Kirara unexpectedly walks out to the lower level of the room just below them. Both Megumi and Panda are surprised that Kirara isn't with Hakari. Kirara quickly spots Megumi and recognizes him from the camera feed. They realize that both Megumi and Yuji are from Jujutsu High, like Panda. Kirara believes that Hakari is in danger and reaches for their phone to call him. Megumi summons the shikigami Divine Dog: Totality to try and stop Kirara. However, Divine Dog is repelled and thrown back into Megumi. Kirara drops their phone, and Megumi realizes that the cursed technique is preventing Divine Dog from getting close. Kirara starts to run towards the monitor room, and Panda attempts to explain that they are not enemies. However, Kirara doesn't believe Panda and is upset with him, feeling betrayed. Unable to get close to Kirara because of the technique, Megumi orders Divine Dog to intercept her path. This stops Kirara from approaching Divine Dog, but Megumi is suddenly pulled towards his shikigami. Megumi realizes that he cannot separate himself from Divine Dog and wonders how this cursed technique works. Unbeknownst to both Megumi and Panda, they haven't noticed the symbol on the bear's back that reads "★Imai". In the monitor room, Hakari meets Yuji for the first time and poses a question about making money. Yuji is unsure of how to respond, leaving him confused with a simple "huh?"
