After securing a temporary replacement for himself at the convenience store, Rokuro agrees to assist Momo and Okarun as they rush back to the police box. However, he insists that Momo take responsibility if he ends up losing his job in the process—a condition to which Momo acquiesces. Utilizing the nanoskin, Rokuro disguises himself as a police officer to gain access to the police box. He swaps the Turbo-Granny for another cat item and retrieves the computer data related to Okarun's missing belongings. Upon spotting police officer Bega returning from patrol, Momo and Okarun attempt to distract him by engaging in a heated argument, resulting in a comical mishap where they accidentally fall on each other. A confrontation ensues when Rokuro encounters Bega at the entrance, leading to a fabricated story by Rokuro. He claims to be Officer Tanaka, assigned to check the lost property file, and explains that his call to Bega didn't go through while he was on patrol. Rokuro even goes so far as to provoke a fight based on his supposed title. Despite Momo and Okarun's concerns about Bega doubting Rokuro's story, Bega confirms the information over the phone after contacting the station. Unbeknownst to Bega, Rokuro secretly uses his nanoskin to manipulate the call. Bega then suggests settling their dispute at the station dojo, proposing a sparring match. Shortly afterward, Rokuro informs Momo and Okarun that the person in possession of the latter's belongings is a Renjaku High School student named Unji Zuma.
