Born into a lineage of spiritual mediums, high school girl Momo Aya-se and her classmate, occult enthusiast Ken Takakura, alias Okarun, began conversing after Momo intervened to help Okarun against a bully in their class. However, they engage in arguments due to their opposing beliefs: Momo, a believer in ghosts but a skeptic of aliens, and Okarun, a believer in aliens but a skeptic of ghosts.
In an attempt to convince each other of their beliefs, Momo heads to the abandoned hospital ruins known for UFO sightings, while Okarun ventures into a haunted tunnel hotspot. There, the two encounter overwhelming phenomena that surpass comprehension.
As they confront impending strangeness, Momo awakens hidden powers within herself, while Okarun gains the power of curses. And thus begins their battle against the encroaching anomalies, alongside the start of a destined romance!
